Servire -- To Serve
I spent three decades turning complex, high-stakes operations into scalable systems -- from Iraq to the Army's largest command to a 23-site industrial enterprise. I build the operating model, align the teams, and deliver measurable results. That doesn't stop when the uniform comes off.
What I Build
I build operating centers from scratch and unify cross-functional teams under a single model. My work at AMC centralized a $5.4B industrial ecosystem across 23 sites -- aligning finance, HR, supply chain, and production under one coherent framework.
I don't just recommend technology -- I drive adoption. At FORSCOM, I reengineered critical enterprise workflows, cutting process cycle times by 75% and saving $30M annually through a landmark digital initiative signed into policy at the Chief of Staff level.
I am actively working with AI tools now -- not studying them from the sidelines. I have built a personal knowledge management system using Claude, developed and deployed an AI literacy course, and integrated agentic workflows into daily operations. This is how I work today.
BS in Industrial Technology Management and MS in Project Management, both from UW-Platteville. Commanded at every level from Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander. Bronze Star Medal. Combat Action Badge. TS/SCI clearance.
I grew up working hard on the family farm, played three sports, and graduated as valedictorian from my high school class. Then I joined the National Guard. My dad swore me in on May 6, 1996. I have been on active duty from 2003 through my upcoming retirement on September 30, 2026.
As the only logistics officer for an infantry battalion in Kuwait, I learned that great leaders don't wait to be told what their teams need. Later, responsible for all logistics from Baghdad to Kuwait, I saw what it means to operate at scale. As Director of Operations and Readiness at FORSCOM -- the Army's largest command -- I built the systems and led the people who kept 75,000 soldiers ready.
Now I'm in the private sector, doing exactly what I did in uniform: identifying gaps, building systems, aligning teams, and delivering results. The mission changes. The approach doesn't.
I'm based in Wisconsin. I travel up to 50% and work remotely by design. If you have a complex operations challenge and need someone who has built at scale under pressure, let's talk.
